Joseph Stecher

Joseph Stecher is heading up our efforts in capital markets and bringing institutional investors onto RealConnex. Joseph Stecher is a private equity real estate principal investor and business builder, who launched a nearly $1 billion (AUM) new business during the financial crisis. Joseph Stecher is currently Founder and CEO of Candlewood Investors. His past experience includes positions with General Motors Pension Fund, Goldman Sachs, and Morgan Stanley. Joseph Stecher got his start in commercial real estate by selling co-op apartments for Time Equities.  “One day when traffic was slow, I read the offering memorandum for the unit I was selling from cover to cover, and I was really intrigued. I never looked back,” says Joseph. After that, he spent a summer during business school working for Olympia & York, at the time the largest commercial real estate company in North America.
